FAQS About The Pro Show
How long is a typical show?
A Jindo music bingo show is generally 2-3 hours and includes 6-10 games.
How does it work?
Your Jindo host will set up a small sound system and put QR codes out on tables and bars for your customers to scan with their phones. When everybody is ready to play, the host will start the game. Bingo cards will appear on players’ phones with song names on the card squares. Players will hear 15 or 30 seconds of each song and click the squares that they have. When a player gets the correct pattern they click the yellow Call Jindo button at the top of their card. The Jindo software will auto-verify their call. If they are correct a winner soundtrack plays and the player is awarded a prize.
What are the prizes?
Generally, a free drink or small swag item is given out to each round winner with a larger Grand Prize given out to the final winner of the show. You can also give out tickets to each round winner and draw one ticket at the end of the show for a single prize. Things like gift cards encourage people to return to your venue in the future and swag items help promote your business. There are many ways to handle prizes so get creative and do what serves your venue best.
When is a good time for a Jindo show?
We are seeing great results from shows going from 7-10 pm or 8-11 pm. Generally, this keeps people around from the dinner and draws people in early for the nightlife.
Is this gambling/legal?
Jindo is 100% legal. There is no purchase necessary to play and no entry fee. It is FREE to play. If you are looking to use Jindo for charitable gaming, please check the laws and regulations in your local area.
What about a sound system?
Your Jindo host will provide a sound system and microphone to host the show. They can simply and easily plug into your in-house system as well with a computer and microphone being the only necessary equipment.
Do I need an ASCAP/SESAC/BMI license?
If you are having bands, playing music from a jukebox or using a streaming service in your venue you will likely have the proper licensing in place.
