Back in late 2018, our intrepid captain, Josh, found himself at the helm of a youth group all-nighter, spinning tunes and keeping the energy high. Event planner extraordinaire, Jenny, had a brilliant idea – musical bingo! Fueled by creativity and a desire to make the night unforgettable, Josh whipped up playlists, printed cards, and voila! A musical adventure unfolded, and the kids were hooked.

From Paper to Pixels: The Dawn of Jindo

As the final echoes of laughter faded, a question sparked in Josh's mind: "Everyone's glued to their phones anyway, why not make the game cards digital?" This simple thought ignited the Jindo engine. Early sketches materialized, outlining the platform and the potential for a revolutionary way to play music bingo.

Naming the Starship: A Quest for Fun

Every great voyage needs a catchy name, something that rolls off the tongue like a triumphant "BINGO!" The brainstorming commenced, with contenders like "Binjo," "DJingo," and "Mindo" vying for the top spot. But fate, with a playful nudge, led Josh down a different path. He stumbled upon "Jindo," a breed of adorable Korean dog. It was perfect – fun, memorable, and with a touch of unexpected charm (just like our platform!).

Building the Crew: Assembling the Dream Team

Jindo wasn't always the powerhouse it is today. With the help of his buddy Denver, Josh established the core concept in 2018. However, 2019 saw Jindo docked for a while, as Josh focused on his DJ career. Then came 2020, and the world took a dramatic turn.

Lockdown Launch: Jindo Takes Flight

The year 2020 brought a wave of restrictions and cancellations. The events industry, Josh's domain, got swept away in the tide. Faced with uncertainty and a loss of purpose, Josh turned back to Jindo. It became a beacon of hope, a project that rekindled his passion during a time of darkness. His dining room transformed into Mission Control, Josh began hosting Jindo games on Zoom, bringing the joy of music and connection to virtual spaces.
