Setting Up Your Jindo Account: What You Need To Know
We’ve experienced a few concerns from our customers about the confusion in the sign-up process when subscribing to Jindo. Due to the nature of our system TWO PROFILES need to be created. One is your CUSTOMER ACCOUNT when you Subscribe, and the other is your HOST PROFILE where you create and manage games.
Here are the differences between the two:
CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
The first account that is created when you subscribe to Jindo.
This is where you can manage your CUSTOMER ACCOUNT payment information and cancel your subscription.
HOST PROFILE
A separate dashboard where you create games (Jindo Jams) and manage your HOST Profile.
This includes adding/updating links to your website, Google Reviews, and Venmo (for collecting tips).
What To Expect When You Subscribe
When you decide to sign up for either the Monthly or Yearly subscription, and you click the SIGN UP FOR [MONTHLY] VIP ACCESS button you will be taken directly to the checkout page.
The first step here is to create your CUSTOMER ACCOUNT. The email you enter here is to receive instructions on setting up your HOST PROFILE and is also the email that is used to manage your customer account.
You do not need to leave the checkbox clicked to receive further updates and get instructions on setting up your Host Profile. However, if you’re curious as to how to become a better host, the emails you receive from us following your subscription will help guide you on creating the best games possible.
Complete the remaining steps on the Checkout page to submit your payment and then check your email.
The emails will all hit around the same time, so what you want to keep an eye out for is the link to create your HOST PROFILE.

Set up your Host Profile here and you can immediately start creating games.
EMAIL 2: VERIFY your Customer Account
This is so you can manage your payment and cancel your subscription.
It is NOT necessary to verify this account to create your HOST PROFILE

This message is your order confirmation and includes all necessary links for you to manage your CUSTOMER ACCOUNT or HOST PROFILE
Why The Need For Two Different Accounts/Systems?
The reason behind this is so that we can rely on Squarespace’s security features for managing your payments and private info, and keep the game server focused on what it does best; running games and managing players. With hundreds of Hosts running public games all over the country to thousands of players, we feel that this is the best solution to keep our customer’s information safe and secure.
